Who is Bryan Brock?
Hey everyone! My name is Bryan Brock and I’m a Toronto-based street photographer, creative entrepreneur and community mentor.
Although I’m relatively new to photography, I’ve spent the majority of my career (25 years) as a creative director, designer, and entrepreneur, specializing in building brands and small businesses in the art, culture, fashion, music and entertainment industries.
Simultaneously, I’ve dedicated the last 15+ years of my life to “giving back”, through mentorship and education as a community leader in the non-profit space. Working towards levelling the playing field for at-risk youth from underserved neighbourhoods who face barriers in pursuing careers in the arts, business and music industries.
Since picking up a camera in the summer of 2019, my work has been featured in i-D Magazine, Sharp Magazine, Pigeons & Planes, and Adobe Lightroom’s “Life Reflected” online gallery, curated by Gordon Parks Fellow, Andre D. Wagner.
Additionally, I’ve exhibited works in Toronto, Seattle, and New York. Most recently, I self-published my first photo book entitled, “Same–Difference”, in collaboration with award winning New York-based photographer Sen Floyd.
I’m currently working on a long-form photography project, while building and connecting with a community of like-minded photographers and creatives from around the world.
